WASHINGTON, D.C. – Overnight

Get ready for this action packed get-away in Washington, D.C. which starts with a tour of the United States Capitol Building and surrounding area. Visit some of the many museums located on the National Mall, including the Natural History, American History, and others. After dinner, we will enjoy a spectacular nighttime walk of the National Monuments, including WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, MLK Memorial, and FDR Memorial. Sunday morning, we visit America’s “most hallowed ground”, Arlington National Cemetery, to attend a Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After lunch, we’ll visit the National Archives, home of such documents as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and Bill of Rights. We will conclude our visit with a tour of the Capitol Building.  Fee includes hotel accommodation, coach bus, in city transportation and selected meals.

Approximate times for the trip are Saturday, 7:00 am departure ~ Sunday, 9:30 pm return.
